Property values have gone up again Nationwide for the second straight quarter!
According to a recent housing market report (tue 11/24/09) and eventhough real estate home prices nationwide are still approximately 9% down from last year, they have gone up again by 3.1% as of the last quarter ending Sept 30th, which is pretty much the same increase from the second quater ending in June.
So eventhough the nationwide average prices are still down 8.9% compared to last year's 3rd quarter, it is still a notable difference improvement from the dramatic decline that we experienced last year, same period, of 14.9%! Compared year to year, prices had dropped a whopping 19%!
In my opinion, even though the improvement is not huge in terms of numbers, it is still a huge improvement just by the fact that prices are no longer going down but they are instead going up!!
